The fastest (and my most fav) thus far of my daily index card paintings. I have been working on painting water and I have been trying to use less brush strokes but my biggest challenge with these cards has been composition. I am trying to work out subject matter and use of space on the sketches first, but I often want to just jump right in with the paint. This 15th painting I gave myself just 7 minutes. I will keep going with the challenge as we are at the half way point - sigh. Just wanted to pause and share what I’ve learned so far....
